Voting and nominating are done together. When you open the Voting Form, simply type the name of the person you’d like to nominate. If they’re eligible, your submission automatically counts as both a nomination and a vote.

You can vote once for each educator, but you may vote for as many different educators as you like.

After submitting the form, you’ll receive an email with a link that lets you change your vote or vote for additional educators. Each educator can win one award per main category (for example, Top Instructor and Most Educational Instagram are separate main categories).

An educator must receive a minimum of 10 votes to win a category.

We’ve implemented several safeguards to ensure legitimate results:
- Limiting one submission per verified email address.
- Checking IP addresses to confirm geographic consistency.
- Using browser cookies to prevent duplicate entries.
- Verifying emails and voters when needed.
- Manually reviewing submissions if irregular activity is detected.

These measures help ensure every vote is authentic and counted fairly.

Each person can only submit the form once, but you can still vote for more educators or change your vote.

This is a celebration of all dental educators :)

Winners will be announced on Course Karma instagram @coursekarma, in our newsletter, and by email to all voters once results are finalized.

This year, we’ve raised the bar. Winners are chosen through a 50/50 system, with half of the results coming from your votes as part of the dental community and half from votes by past winners and runner-ups.

It’s a new way to celebrate educators, giving both the community and their peers a voice in recognizing excellence.
